Zhang Cungang, was born in Hohhot City Inner Mongolia in 1960.

 Now as:

Now he is a member of Chinese Artists Association, Professor of Inner Mongolia Normal University, tutor of master's degree of Academy of Fine Arts, deputy director of Inner Mongolia printmaking art committee.

 Exhibitions and awards:

1997 the print "Shepherd" won the bronze medal in the "National Flowers Award” of the fourth session China National Fine Arts Exhibition”.

 1995 print "Expedition" to participate in the exhibition of cultural exchanges in Canada.

 1999 print "Tree" in the Ninth China Art Exhibition won the outstanding award, and won the sixth Inner Mongolia Art Creation Award "Sarina".

 2003 print “Quiet Mountains Village” was selected in the Sixteenth National Print Exhibition.

 2004 print "The sky of hometown" was selected in the Eighth National Exhibition of the three editions.

 Print "Wusutu" was selected in South Korea Busan International Print Biennial Exhibition;

 Print "Cold Winter Autumn Leaves" was selected in the Tenth National Art Exhibition.

 2005 the print "Wind" won the fourth session "Luyi Cup" National Teachers College Outstanding Award of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts.

 2006 the print "How Many Red Leaves Withered" was selected to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the death of Lu Xun - the first session Chinese black and white woodcut exhibition in twenty-first Century;

 Print "Long Road of Yingchang" was selected in the first session National Comprehensive Exhibition.

 2007 print "Two of the Remaining Lotus" won the first prize of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Art Exhibition.

 2009 print "Distant Tree" was selected in "advocate green life, build ecological civilization - National Art exhibition".

 In 2012, the work of "Ejina scenery three" was selected into the vast grassland -- the exhibition of Chinese art.

 2014 print "Boundless Yinshan" was selected in the tenth session China Art Festival - the National Exhibition of outstanding works of Art.

 Print "Auspicious day" was selected in the Twelfth National Art exhibition.
